Another component in the college admissions process is a student's passionate involvement in a few activities. We can discuss how your student will build this resume in high school.

Hourly consultation will only include access to the consultant (i.e., e-mail, text messaging, telephone, cell phone) during the arranged session times. Time will be billed for any response or research time longer than five minutes.
Junior/Senior Comprehensive Package
The Junior/Senior Comprehensive package allows students to change throughout our time working together. It is designed to help the student reflect and adjust their priorities as we work together throughout their junior and senior years. It is also comprehensive for the entire process. The ThriveGuide Process provides the scaffolding for this package, but each package is individualized to the client who purchases it, and there are flexible entry points for this package. My goal is for students and families to enjoy this process. I prioritize mental health and bring forward each student's unique qualities.

A guide through the entire college admissions process starting junior year through the end of their senior year. We work together intensely in the summer to ensure the Common App application and essay are complete by August 1st.

This plan allows for unlimited access during office hours (i.e., e-mail, text messaging, cell phone) to the college counselor from the beginning of consulting services in the junior year to the completion of the college admission process on May 1 of the senior year or August 31st for mental health transition planning.

Administration of various assessments to determine factors important to the student in the college selection process

Review academic records, psychological evaluations (if applicable), test scores, and other materials relevant to college readiness and college selection

Consult with other educational and mental health service providers when appropriate

Assist with up to 10 college applications through the Common Application website; in the event that the student applies to more than ten college applications, additional hours may be purchased to assist with the remaining applications. This includes a maximum of 10 essays.

This is for students at the beginning of their senior year who need assistance through the application process, including the essay. This can include financial aid consultation. It can also include college list development. This package can be customized depending on need or purchased on an hourly basis. It can consist of bullet points in the hourly college consulting list above as needed for the family.
